My attempts at pixel art, namely Pokemon trainer sprites. Pretty damn easy to make after you've gotten the basics down.
Top tier from left; Random cop based off Excalibur's Pete Wisdom, random girl, Gargoyles' Macbeth. random kid, X-men's Angel, Australia's Drover, random chick, X-Men's Northstar, random cute archeologist, X-men's Gambit. Bottom tier; Random chick based off WWE's Lita, a trio of blondes based of X-Men's Stepford Cuckoos, Captain Nemo-ish character, Gargoyles' Jackal, young Avatar Roku, evil priest based off X-men's William Stryker, good doctor based off my Transhuman Ratchet, Gargoyles' David Xanatos and Gunslinger Girl's Henrietta. Okay, now I'm wondering at what Pokémon they'd have now.
Stepford Cuckoos'd have psychics, I see Jackal as having a Mighthyena (okay, more his sister, but close enough XD), hrmmm, Macbeth, toughie. *wonders at Xanatos, too*

Hey, Jackal could have a Houndoom. That'll be awesome, albeit combined with his sister's Mightyena will have you running for the hills in no time.
Macbeth I think would invest in steel-types. I dunno....just his look somehow. Maybe a Scarmory or a Lucario.
As for Xanatos, nothing less than the best. I bet he's probably got Giovanni's lineup of Pokemon somehow, just because.

I'm a bit stuck on Gambit. I feel as though I'm missing an obvious choice, here. I can see him having a Sneasel, speedy and sneaky, and maybe some Pokémon with Metronome, as a kind of "luck of the draw" thing. XD
Ahhh, Xanatos. Really, he'd boot Giovanni out and take over, and the latter would never see it coming. He'd probably help make it happen without realizing it. XD <3
